COVID-19 Update 3.15.20

THE HEALTH OF OUR PATIENTS AND STAFF IS OUR HIGHEST PRIORITY IN THESE DIFFICULT TIMES.  PLEASE NOTE NEW PRECAUTIONS TO KEEP OUR PATIENTS SAFE

1. We are asking  patients to reschedule if they:

• Have a fever, cough or cold symptoms.
• Have come into contact with anyone with COVID-19 or cold/flu symptoms.
• Have traveled by airplane, bus or train in the past 14 days.

1. Upon arrival, patients are asked to sanitize their hands.
2. We have staggered patient appointment times to minimize contact, and ask patients to sit six or more feet away from any non-family members in our waiting room.
3. Patient forms must be completed before appointments.  They are texted to each patient in advance and are easily completed on a phone or iPad.  This includes a new COVID-19 screening form.
4. To improve social distancing, we have altered our check-out procedures.  We will call to schedule follow-up appointments and collect payment instead of doing so in-person.
5. Our staff is sanitizing hard surfaces, including doorknobs, frequently thought the day and our clinical staff are maintaining stringent infection control and standard precautions in accordance with CDC guidelines.
